Mr. George Ahiafor- Board Chairman

Mr Ahiafor serves as Chief Executive Officer of XDS Data Ghana Limited, he also saved as Chief Executive Officer of Debenture Trust Company Limited. He has over 20 years’ experience in Banking in the United States and Africa. He was the Area Manager for Treasury Operations at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana and was responsible for the West African region from February 1999 to February 2003.

He was offered a new appointment in Singapore as the Head of Derivative Operations responsible for Standard Chartered Bank units for all the countries east of Bangladesh. He served on the team to implement the Bank of Ghana payment systems. He was a Member of the project team, responsible for coming up with a framework for the implementation of the West African Payment Systems. Prior to Standard Chartered Bank, he was Assistant Vice President and Manager of derivative products at Rabo bank International New York, and also Assistant Vice President of Rabo Capital Services Inc. Before Rabo bank, he was an Assistant Vice president and Manager of the Strategic Instruments department at Canadian Imperial bank of Commerce, New York. He was Operations Officer and Manager of Derivative Operations at Union Bank of Switzerland, New York and Assistant Treasurer at Republic National Bank, New York. He has extensive experience in Banking. He worked with all the above for many years and a product of the State University of New York Maritime College, a military Institution in New York, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in management alongside.

Percival Ofori Ampomah- Board Member

Percival Ofori Ampomah is an Investment Manager in charge of Private Equity Investments at the Ghana Growth Fund. Ghana Growth Fund is one of Ghana’s largest Private Equity Funds with more than $500 million of assets under management. Prior to joining Ghana Growth Fund, Percival was the Deputy General Manager and Head of Investments at the Venture Capital Trust Fund where he provided strategic leadership for all aspects of the Trust Fund’s investments in risky financial assets including venture capital funds and special purpose vehicles. Mr. Ampomah has extensive experience in finance and investments, having worked in various finance-related roles in U.K, U.S. and Ghana. Percival is also an Adjunct Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Finance at several universities in Ghana and a former board member of the Ghana Alternative Exchange. He is skilled at consulting for corporate and small- to medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) clients, is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and a member in good standing of the African Association of Consultants and Valuation Analysts. Mr. Ampomah holds a Private Equity and Venture Capital Certificate from Harvard Business School and Venture Capital Executive Education Certificate from the Hass School of Business, University of California, Berkley. He also holds an MSc. Degree in Finance from the University of Durham Business School, U.K. and an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Percival is also pursuing an LLB Degree at the GIMPA Law School.

Professor Pat Obi- Board Member

Pat Obi he is an endowed professor at Purdue University in the United States with the title, White Lodging Professor of Finance. He received his Ph.D. in Finance and Econometrics from the University of Mississippi and is a holder of the Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA). Currently, he is the Director of the Executive MBA program at Purdue University Northwest where he teaches Corporate Finance, Quantitative Methods, Derivatives, and Financial Markets.

In addition to serving on the board of local organizations and businesses, Obi also consults for businesses and local governments in the United States on matters relating to valuation, financial planning, and financial performance. In the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area, he conducts regular financial workshops at community centers and businesses.

In the aftermath of the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Obi joined a team of American professors in an annual volunteer teaching assistance at Université Nouvelle Grand’Anse in Jérémie, Haiti.

At various periods beginning from 1995, he served as a visiting scholar at overseas universities including Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), Vilnius Technical University (Lithuania), Klaipeda University (Lithuania), Vaal University of Technology (South Africa), North West University (South Africa), Kyung Hee University (South Korea), Khon Kaen University (Thailand), and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

Following the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, Obi gave invited presentations at a number of international venues. These include Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic (July 2009); Shahe City, China (August 2010); Khon Kaen University, Thailand (August 2009); Vaal Area Chamber of Commerce, Vanderbijlpark, South Africa (March 2009); Hotel & Tourism Industry Forum at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea (October 2009); Alliance Française in Jérémie, Haiti (September 2011); University of Cyprus in Nicosia (November 2012), Helsinki, Finland (July 2013), and Orlando, Florida (Nov 2014). Similar presentations were also given at various media events in the Chicago area between 2008 and 2014.

Obi is the recipient of the first Faculty Lecturer Award (2010) and the Outstanding Faculty Scholar Award (2015) both, from Purdue University Calumet. Teaching recognitions at Purdue include Teacher-of-the-Year (2000) and eight teaching excellence awards from the Executive MBA program. Research awards have come from the Academy of Finance, Institute for Global Business and Finance, Association for Global Business, and Applied Business Research. Obi has over 60 scholarly publications and is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Business and Economic Studies and Journal of Global Business and Technology. He is the author of Basics of Business Finance, a Lithuanian language college textbook; and We Must Change the Way We Live, a book on financial education published by Archway Publishing.

Madam Doris K. Adabasu- Board Member

Madam Doris is a product of the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon, NHK-CTI, Tokyo, Japan, SFB-TTC, Berlin, Germany and an African Humanities Fellow, University of Ghana and program African Studies, Northwestern University, USA.

Work experience includes producer/ Director for Ghana Television, Head of Programs (HOP) I/C of Public Affairs, Youth and gender, the Director of Corporate Affairs for Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and presently the Director of Enigma Images Ltd, a production and Event Management Company.

Some of the concepts developed that run on Ghana Television (GTV) include The African Heritage Series; Women in the Different Professions; Fashion on the move, please tell us a Story and was the producer for Yes Matron (a TV Health Drama Series).

Some of the documentaries produced and or directed are The Slave Routes; Heart of Gold; Celebration 2000; I can Read …. I can write; women in politics; Makers and Shapers of Africa Development (UN IDEP series); The Kofi Annan Triology and The Dream Big Series with UNICEF

Louis Amenyo Adanuty – CEO (Executive Board Member)

Louis Amenyo Adanuty is a technology entrepreneur. He is the founder, chief executive officer, chief software architect and an executive director of Teksol. Louis Amenyo started Teksol in the year 2009 whilst studying for his bachelor’s degree in information technology.

Teksol is one of the rapidly growing technology companies in Africa. He has over twelve years’ experience in the technology industry and software engineering, system analysis and design and consulting. Louis has consulted for a renowned international organizations such as the World Bank Group in Washington, USA and has vast experience in management. Louis has lead several successful project and has implemented systems for over forty companies including banks, investment firms, pension funds, etc.

Louis has been the driving force behind the success of Teksol Ltd and he continues to create and maintain business focus for the organization. He is a unique personality who has driven Teksol to its present state. He is very analytical, focused, result oriented and is able to ensure successful implementation of all corporate initiatives.

Louis holds an MBA in Finance from GIMPA Business School and a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Information and Communication Technology from Ghana Institute of Management And Public Administration (Gimpa) School of Technology. Louis is married with two kids.
